Another Day Two
A new dawn, awakening from a nightmare. Maybe this time
When I got this site in April, I thought the name Another Day One was kind of cute and clever but I also thought that it was inaccurate, or maybe just programmatic: that it would not be relevant anyway to the actual workings of the blog.
But since I started the thing at the end of March I hoped that the Day One of the title would be the last one.
Well call it nominative determinism if you like but I have had several relapses since then and I am wondering if this thing is any help at all. I do find it comforting to look back at the thoughts I have had coming out of them, but I'm not convinced the blog can prevent them.
If I were to make a point of writing it every single day, that might help. If I can use it as a way to anticipate points of danger, that could be useful. Maybe someday I'll connect the thing to PayPal and try to get other people to read it and that might be helpful too.
In the meantime, here's Another Day Two. I've walked the dog, I'm going to tidy the house. The summer holidays are here (my child's, I mean: I could also do with a job) so maybe I'll do another post in a bit outlining the possible danger-points for the next few weeks.
